BTS Jungkook Tiktok record surpasses 180 B views

K-media reported that "Jungkook is the 'FIRST' and 'ONLY' SOLO ARTIST around the WORLD to record 180 billion views on his personal hashtags on Tiktok, thus showing off his popularity and influence as ''SUPER POPULAR ICON.

Previously, Jungkook ranked No.1 most viewed person in the world with his personal hashtags on Tiktok for 28 months from August 2020.

In addition to Tiktok, Jungkook is the most searched k-pop idol for 5 consecutive years on Google, the most searched K-pop idol for 5 consecutive years on Youtube worldwide, and on K-pop Star, and 1 on Pinterest's most searched k-pop Idols in the US, UK, and Canada.

In addition, Jungkook ranked #1 on Twitter as 'the most retweeted person in Korea' in 2017 and 2018, holds the records for the 'most retweeted tweet in the world' in 2019, and the most retweeted tweet in the world in 2020'.

Jungkook continued his strong popularity and presence by sweeping the Top SPOT on major social media around the world.

On the Global Artist Chart of the International Federation of Phonographic Industry (IFPI), K-Pop idol group BTS has consistently achieved impressive rankings. They first made their appearance on the chart in 2018, securing the second position. The following year, they dropped to seventh place, but they made a stunning comeback in 2020 and 2021 by taking the top spot, which marked a historical achievement for the IFPI as the first artist to rank first for two consecutive years. BTS is also the first non-English singer to consecutively make it to the top ten on the Global Artist Chart for five years. Apart from them, TWICE member Nayeon also made it to the top 100 celebrities list. The Google top 100 searched Asians list is about the celebrities who have definitely got everyone talking about them. Amongst Indians, cricketer Virat Kohli tops the list at number 3, followed by Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt at 4th and 5th spot.

The first top names on the list consist of Bollywood actors and K-pop idols, which has seen a huge fan following globally in the last few years.
