BTS JUNGKOOK NEW SONG DREAMERS
BTS member Jungkook travelled to Qatar last week for his appearance at the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony. Since the BTS maknae is scheduled to play at the same event as a star-studded lineup, fans have been busy speculating as to what kind of performance the maknae will be providing.
Big Hit Music eventually stated on November 19 KST that Jungkook will give a solo performance during the opening ceremony. At the Al Bayt Stadium in Doha, he will perform "Dreamers," the song from the FIFA World Cup 2022 official soundtrack. At 2 PM KST tomorrow, November 20, the song will be made available. It was also made known that Jungkook filmed the "Dreamers" music video in Qatar.
With the release of "Dreamers," Jungkook made history as the first Korean and Asian solo artist to have a song on the World Cup soundtrack. Since Ricky Martin in 1998, he is also the first musician in history to have his or her own official World Cup soundtrack.
Many ARMYs thought back to how far Jungkook and BTS had come in their careers as they expressed their pride in this accomplishment.
