Earthquake felt again in Delhi
Around 8 o'clock today, tremors were reported in Delhi and nearby states, which caused many people to flee their homes and places of business. This was the second such earthquake to be felt in the area. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake's magnitude was 5.4 and the epicenter was once more in Nepal.
According to Nepal's earthquake monitoring agency, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near Patadewal in the Bajhang district. It occurred at precisely 8.12 p.m. local time, or 7.57 p.m. in India. The authority stated, "This is the seventh earthquake in Nepal in the last three days with an intensity of 4 or higher."
Nepal experienced a 5.4-magnitude earthquake on November 12, 2022, at 19:57:06 IST, with coordinates of 29.28 and 81.20 and a depth of 10 kilometers.
An IMD official confirmed the quake originated in Nepal at a depth of 10 km with a Latitude of 29.28 N and a Longitude of 81.20 E.
In Uttarakhand, the tremors were felt in places including Pithoragarh, Munsiyari and Gangolihat.
"The origin of the earthquake was 10 km deep and 3 km from Silang town of Nepal. The affected countries are India, China, and Nepal," Pithoragarh Disaster Management Officer BS Mahar told news agency PTI.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property.
